The Original Moulin Rouge in Paris!

Yesssss! Yes, yes, yes I did go to the real damn Moulin Rouge! I can't believe it either and it ISN'T something I had thought about before leaving for Europe. I didn't even know that they still do the original Moulin Rouge in Paris! What a show!

I paid almost 100 pounds for the admision ticket. It was an extremely classy event where they served champagne, catered, and ushered, just like how we know it to be. Moulin Rouge is one of my favorite movies and musicals along with gangster films are my favorite movie genres. This was beyond a dream. The line went down for blocksss.

The performers were extraordinary. My favorite act (don't want to spoil it, so don't read on if you plan to see it), is when the woman jumps in the pool with snakes. Amazing! Be ready to see lots of breasts also. One thing I wasn't prepared for were breasts, and I totally disregarded the fact that breasts make the show! Awesome, spectacular show. It's worth the money becase it's a classic. Trust me, when you get there and you see the windmills outside, your starstruckness will make you forget how much you paid to see one of the best shows on the planet. Well worth it.

The pictures aren't the best quality because I had to sneak and take pictures, as usual. That's all the more reaosn to go and see it for yourself!

Annie!

Annie was amazing! I haven't watched the movie in years but I loved the show. I didn't fall asleep despite how tired I was (it has happened before on an extremely tiring day prior to the show), and that means the show was good! It was cute, funny and entertaining! I'd recommend a few before I do with this show, but I'd still recommend it. GREAT show for the kids. The actors were great. You'll find yourself singing familiar songs as well.

Los Angeles, California Baby!

Cali is the sh*t!

Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude. LA is exactly what we see on TV. Sunny, beachy and super friendly! That place is super awesome and it's one of the few places I've been to that I actually would go back to (I WENT BACK, CHECK OUT UPDATES BELOW). I went with my main squeeze Yva and my boy Marlon. It was a REAL adventure!

1st day: Our flight got in later in the evening, so we decided to spend our first in Beverly Hills and take a visit to the very famous Mr. Chow. Lux!!!!!

2nd day: It was time to explore the enormous city of Los Angeles! We visited Chinatown, Downtown and the Grammy Museum. We also met one of my bestest friends' mom! It was a crazy, tiring, but great day. So much Cali fun.

"B*tch you wasn't with me shooting in the gyyyyym." ~Drake

3rd day: It was finally time for the beach! Everywhere I go there's usually something there that I've always dreamed of doing. In LA's case, it had been to roller blade on Santa Monica or Venice Beach (end up doing both since they were connected) and to see the Hollywood Sign (coming soon). More things to check off the bucket list. This was magical. Literally, as Yva and I roller bladed and Marlon rode his bike, people would say make conversation, give us pointers or say "right on"... and of course cat-call as they they skated/jogged/walked by us. Yva & I also fantasized about eating mangoes on the beach in Jamaica for a long time, and Marlon comes out of no where with mangoes not knowing a lick about our dream. Mangoes on a Cali beach? Sounds good to me. Life is good boy!

4th day: It was time to go to Disneyland! This is also something I've always wanted to do since a child and my friends and I enjoyed every minute of it. Disney World, Disneyland Paris and Disneyland Cali all provided the same "I feel so free" feeling to me we had when we were younger. Too much fun!

5th day: Finally but sadly, the last day. It was finally time for Hollywood! There were only two things to do: see the Hollywood Sign and the Walk of Fame. Another one of those "starstruck" moments for me with inanimate objects lol.

We ended off the trip at California Pizza Kitchen. How appropriate lol.

The only damn thing we DIDN'T do in LA was go out. Believe it or not, every single day we were drained from the enormity of Los Angeles. It was quite overwhelming and I wasn't quite expecting the tirednes I expeirenced. Nevertheless we didn't complain because our day acitivities made up for everything lost, that's how awesome LA is. Since my girl Yva is from there, we shall return and finish what we started sooner than later. Until again Cali!

January 2016

I came back to LA because I got free tickets for Wild n Out! I went with one of my girls and travel buddies, Chrys. Lots of fun! There will be a separate post up for that!

In other news, I FINALLY found Bob Marley's star! This is the closest we'll ever get.
